Great Book Signing Session for The Fantastical Art of Jim Pitts at Fantasycon

We had a great, very lively book signing session for The Fantastical Art of Jim Pitts at Fantasycon in Peterborough this weekend, with Jim Pitts, Ramsey Campbell, Jon Harvey, Peter Coleborn, Stephen Jones, and David A. Riley.

There will be a group signing of The Fantastical Art of Jim Pitts at Fantasycon in Peterborough between 3 and 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon (30th September) in the Dealers Room at the joint Parallel Universe Publications/Jim Pitts tables.

Present amongst the contributors to the book will be Jim Ptts, Ramsey Campbell, Stephen Jones, Peter Coleborn, Jon M. Harvey, and David A. Riley.

Advert designed for FantasyCon Programme Book

Below is the full-page advert that has been sent off for inclusion in this year's FantasyCon programme, the main emphasis being on the launch of The Fantastical Art of Jim Pitts, though our other new books aren't being neglected, all of which will be available on our stand.

Both Jim and I are looking forward to meeting any of you who are attending this event, which is over the weekend of the 29th September till the 1st October in Peterborough.

FantasyCon 2017 - Peterborough

We have now booked for this year's Fantasycon, which will be held at the Bull Inn, Peterborough between the 29th September and the 1st October.

We'll be arriving the night before the convention starts so we can get our Parallel Universe Publications table set up in good time for when guests arrive.

Fantasycon (23-25 September, 2016 - Scarborough) - We'll be there!

Parallel Universe Publications will not only be holding a book launch at Fantasycon but will have a table in the Dealers Room where all our books will be available at a special one-time-only Fantasycon price of £8.00 each. Fantasycon will be held at the Grand Hotel, Scarborough between the 23rd and 25th September this year.

Books to be launched will be Adrian Cole's Tough Guys, Paul Lewis and Steve Lockley's The Winter Hunt, A Saucerful of Secrets by Andrew Darlington, Andrew Jennings' Into the Dark, and Ezeiyoke Chukwunonso's Haunted Grave. It will also be your first opportunity to buy Fishhead: The Darker Tales of Irvin S. Cobb.

 

 

Parallel Universe places ad in Black Static, Fear magazine and the FantasyCon Programme

Parallel Universe Publications has embarked on an advertising campaign to raise its profile. The first of these was in the horrorzine for Adrian Cole's Tough Guys.

We have now arranged for an ad to go in the inaugural issue of the revived magazine Fear, edited by John Gilbert. This will be followed by a half-page ad in Black Static (issue #54).

As well as a book launch at FantasyCon we are also placing a full-page, full-colour ad in the convention programme.

Proof Copy of Tough Guys by Adrian Cole

The proof copy for Adrian Cole's Tough Guys arrived today - and it looks great. Jim Pitts' wraparound cover artwork looks really good. The book also boasts an in-depth introduction by David A. Sutton.
The book is set to be launch at FantasyCon at Scarborough in September.
