My copies of Swords & Heroes edited by Lyndon Perry arrived today

Received a great double delivery today: My contributor's copies of Swords & Heroes edited by Lyndon Perry, containing my story Welgar the Cursed, plus the proof copy of Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 6.

Swords & Heroes is a beautifully published book and one I am immensely proud to be in, alongside such outstanding authors as Charles Gramlich, Gustavo Bondoni, Michael T. Burke, Teel James Glenn, Tom Doolan, Nancy Hansen, Tim Hanlon, Frank Sawielijew, Cliff Hamrick, J. Thomas Howard, and Adrian Cole.

I am pleased the proof copy for Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 6 is exactly right. All I have to do now is format it for a kindle version and it will be ready to publish, hopefully before the end of next week.

All 12 stories for Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 6 have been chosen. The full Table of Contents will be announced as soon as all contracts have been returned to us.

Submissions for Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 6 now closed

The submissions period for Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 6 closed at midnight last night (GMT). Any further submissions sent to us after that time will not be considered.

Emails informing everyone who submitted stories, whether accepted for publication or not, will be sent out by the end of this week and it is our intention to announce the full list of stories and authors as soon as all contracts have been signed.

Volume 6 should be published as an ebook and paperback by the end of this month or the start of the next.

This will be another bumper volume with at least twelve stories in it as well over 300 pages. Deciding which stories to accept is difficult, especially as we will unfortunately have to turn down some excellent tales, but there are only so many we can publish. We are grateful to everyone who submitted to us this time, confirming that the sword and sorcery genre is not only thriving but full of some first class writing and true originality.

The submissions period for Volume 7 will open on the 1st October this year.
