Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 1 reviewed on Castalia House Website

A new review of Swords & Sorceries: Tales of Heroic Fantasy Volume 1 on the Castalia House website.

"... I really like the format of this book. The 5.25 x 8 is an almost ideal size for reading. Cover art by Jim Pitts who colorized an old illustration of Karl Edward Wagner’s Kane. Pitts also provides the frontispiece and dedication art. The art fits well, is strategically used, and kept in balance with the prose.

There is a second volume out in June and Volume 3 published two weeks ago. The publishing schedule appears to be every 6 months. This is stuff the Big 5 ought to be doing."

Parallel Universe continues to publish heroic adventures in strange worlds by authors of growing renown.
"Volume three brings us another ten tales. Several authors you might recognize from the previous installments such as: Tais Teng, Mike Chinn, Chadwick Ginther, and veteran writer Adrian Cole.....
"This year has been a stellar year for sword and sorcery fiction. Parallel Universe has certainly added to the excitement with this series of anthologies. In fact, Volume four is due for publication in June of 2022."
